108 devotional songs received in sacred ceremonies around the world over a 12-year period, reflecting a call to walk the inner path, and in gratitude and celebration for the power and beauty of the natural world.
These songs and chants have been received by Adrian in the spirit and the tradition of sacred song circles from the Brazilian Forest. Songs of the spirit, medicine music, healing songs, songs for the heart, teachings from the sacred realms. The songs are very simple in character compared to the subtle nuances of shakuhachi music – simple melodies and rhythms, with accompaniment for guitars, maracas and other folk instruments. Some of the songs have links to Brazilian spiritual traditions, and others are connected to Eastern traditions from the temples of India, Tibet and Japan.
