Trust In The Path

Trust In The Path is a selection of songs from the Lotus Rising songbook by Adrian Freedman. These songs have been received by Adrian in sacred ceremonies. Simple songs on themes of light, hope, beauty, healing growth and transformational flow. The songs of the Lotus Rising songbook echo the ancient wisdom teachings of the forests and of sacred traditions from East and West, embodied in new melodies and lyrics.

“For 20 years I would only sing these songs in sacred ceremonies or sacred music festivals, but the times are changing, and I feel the call to share them with the world, just I have been doing with my instrumental music for all these years. 

These songs are intimate messages and prayers that I have received in the deepest folds of my heart. They’ve guided my steps through the transformative years I have been walking on a spiritual path and a medicine path.”

Trust In The Path features Adrian singing and playing guitar and shakuhachi. Misha Mullov-Abbado accompanies on double bass and additional contributions are made by Mike Stanton on guitar and Green on percussion. The album was mixed and mastered in Oslo by Nils Olav and Jock Loveband.
